(2) 3-1/4” Squares – White, sub-cut into 4 pieces – B5, B7, C5, C7
(8) 1-1/2” X 2-3/4” Rectangles – White – A1, A3, A5, A7, B1, B3, C1, C3
(2) 3-1/4” Squares – Black, sub-cut into 4 pieces – B4, B6, C4, C6
(1) 2-3/4” Square – Black – A4
(4) 1-1/2” X 2-3/4” Rectangles – Black – A2, A6, B2, C2

Your block will finish to 6”. This means that it will physically measure 6-1/2” X 6-1/2” before it is sewn to other blocks.

Cutting Instructions & Piecing Locations for 6” Paper Pieced Block:

(4) 2-1/2” Squares – White – A4, A5, B4, B5

(1) 4-3/4” Square – White, sub-cut in 4 pieces – A1, B1, C1, D1

(4) 2-3/4” Squares – Red, sub-cut into 8 pieces – A2, A3, B2, B3, C2, C3, D2, D3

(1) 4” Square – Navy – C4

(1) 4” Square – White - Trace 5 stars onto fusible web, iron fusible web onto the back side of your white square. Cut out 5 stars. Position and iron the stars onto the blue background square after the block is assembled. Use stabilizer on the backside of the blue and zig-zag stitch the white stars.
